GEDIX Developments plans to reshape Sadat City’s urban landscape in collaboration with Archrete

GEDIX Developments company announced its official partnership with Archrete Engineering Consultants – winner of the Best 2025 award – to handle the design and engineering consultancy for its new urban development project, in a strategic move aiming to reshape the urban landscape concept at Sadat city.
This project is regarded one of the largest integrated projects in the city, with initial investments estimated at approximately EGP 6.5 bn.
A strategic partnership to achieve global standards
Ashraf Hammouda, GEDIX Developments Chairman, said that the selection of “Archrete” reflects the company’s strategy of collaborating with pioneering engineering firms possessing extensive experience in Egypt and the Middle East, noting that this collaboration ensures the delivery of a unique real estate product that meets the latest global standards in urban design and planning.
Hammouda pointed that the company aims to offer a completely different living experience within Sadat city, primarily focused on quality of life and integrated services, thus meeting client aspirations and enhancing the city’s position as a promising investment and residential destination.
*Smart location and luxurious residential communities in a “Tourist Village” Style*
Dr.Sherif Al-Ghazaly, Gedix Developments CEO, reviewed the project’s technical details, explaining that it is being built on a total area of approximately 36 acres in an exceptionally strategic location, as the project is situated in one of the city’s most famous squares, “Sadat Square”, near the residential entrance, making it the best and most vibrant location in the city.
Al-Ghazaly added that the project includes approximately 1,100 diverse units, providing an integrated system that combines housing, services, and investment opportunities, and it is divided into two separate residential communities that guarantee exceptional privacy:
– A compound dedicated to fully serviced apartment buildings, comprising 46 buildings with 20 apartments each, ranging in area from 122 to 205 square meters.
– A compound dedicated to villas, featuring 62 villas diverse from standalone units to twin houses, with areas ranging from 214 to 350 square meters.
He emphasized that the target is not merely to construct buildings, but to provide a sustainable living experience that balances nature, comfort, and modern technology to meet the needs of the Egyptian family.
Dr. Sherif Al-Ghazaly, CEO of GEDIX Developments, assured that the company is not aiming to develop a traditional real estate project, but rather to present a new urban model that aligns with the significant potential of Sadat city and reflects the scale of the economic and developmental transformations the city has witnessed in recent years.
He pointed the choice of Archrete as the architectural consultant, based on its distinguished track record and extensive experience in designing integrated urban projects, ensuring a project that achieves a balance between residential, recreational, service, and investment aspects according to the latest global standards.
He explained that the project represents a step within a broader vision adopted by GEDIX to contribute in elevating the concept of real estate development in Sadat city, offering a distinctive real estate product that adds real value to the city and its residents, and enhances its position as one of the most promising cities on the Egyptian development and investment map.

For his part, Eng. Moustafa Afifi, Archrete Engineering Consultants CEO, expressed his pride in this project, which he described as exceptional and massive due to its diverse uses and activities.
Afifi revealed that the teamwork conducted a comprehensive site study to accommodate the project’s various residential, recreational, and hotel activities.
He described the design challenges in optimizing area utilization, and how the company successfully integrated vast green areas and water features throughout the project, while maintaining privacy between units and providing recreational areas for kids areas and various playgrounds.
He announced that the project’s internal social club will represent a sporting breakthrough, featuring gyms, football, padel, handball, volleyball, and basketball courts, in addition to dedicated halls for ballet and yoga.
Afifi concluded by pointing that this unique design makes the project more like a “fully integrated tourist village” in the heart of Sadat city, reflecting Archrete’s extensive experience in designing more than 1,500 projects inside and outside Egypt, especially in the markets of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Libya.
