AIG rebuilds its executive team by appointing Karim Abdin as Head of the Commercial Sector

announced the appointment of Karim Abdin as Head of the Commercial Sector, a move reflecting the developer’s commitment to strengthen its executive team and utilize leadership expertise in preparation for a new phase of growth and expansion in the Egyptian real estate market.

He added that Karim Abdin’s joining the company comes at a crucial time, coinciding with AIG’s expansion phase aimed at strengthening its presence in the Egyptian market, noting that Abdeen possesses over 15 years of professional experience in the real estate sector, during which he successfully led numerous commercial projects and achieved outstanding results, making him a valuable addition to the team.
He emphasized that the decision to enter the Egyptian market took place after a thorough study of its investment potential, given its significant growth opportunities, noting that the company aims to build a robust institutional investment entity based on establishing trust with clients before developing projects, relying on innovative real estate development concepts centered on sustainability.
He announced that the company is currently studying expansion by launching new projects in the New Administrative Capital, which has become one of the most significant investment destinations in the region due to its advanced infrastructure, business districts, and integrated services, assuring that the company has received the land for “AI TOWER” project and is preparing to start actual construction in the near future, after finalizing the contracting procedures with one of the leading construction companies specializing in the execution of mixed-use towers, as the project is scheduled for delivery within Four years, according to the targeted timeline.
He announced that the company also prioritizes exporting Egyptian real estate, leveraging its regional and global network and client base in several Arab countries to attract more foreign investors to the Egyptian market.
For his part, Karim Abdin, Head of the Commercial Sector at AIG, expressed his pride for joining the company’s team, emphasizing that the next phase will focus on building an integrated commercial system that not only achieves sales targets but also emphasizes enhancing client’s experience and improving performance efficiency across all commercial departments.
He explained that the company’s commercial sector includes Sales, Marketing, client service, and Sales Operations departments, in addition to establishing a specialized Broker Relations department, which strengthens partnerships with real estate marketing companies, which are considered key drivers of sales growth in the real estate market and are considered partners of success.
He added that AI Tower represents a new model for smart projects in the New Administrative Capital, as it is the first tower to be operated and managed using artificial intelligence applications within the Central Business District, Spanning 8,700 square meters and overlooking the Iconic Tower, consists of 50 floors including administrative, commercial, and medical units offering diverse investment opportunities catering to various investor segments.
He noted that the project utilizes cutting edge technological solutions through collaboration with the American company “Honeywell” to implement an integrated smart building management system and artificial intelligence technologies, besides leading experts are involved, with Hafez Engineering Consultants handling the architectural design and Moharram Bakhoum providing structural consultancy, and the company is about to contract with a major contracting company and the project’s general consultant to be announced soon.
He assured that the Egyptian real estate market possesses strong growth potential, anticipating a significant sales recovery in the second half of the year, driven by the return of client’s confidence and the success of several companies in delivering innovative real estate products that meet market needs, noting that AIG aims to provide genuine investment value to its clients through projects that combine a prime location, modern technology, and high-quality execution
